Where can I get a set of strong Clevis-Mount rear shocks?

    Hello everyone,

I sorely need to replace my rear shocks and I would like to but I can't find any with a clevis mount on the bottom that are rated for 215+ pounds.

Can anyone here throw me a clue so I can really pack my GS the way i need without the rear fender hitting the chainguard on bumps?

    Thanks,

Try the Progressives with 175-215 springs.

You may have to ask for the heavier weight springs.
Or go to Progressive's web site and search under the spring sizes.

I run them on my S model, bought them 2 years ago.
They guy went out of business this year , he was a buddy.....

I also put Progressives on my E model, 150-175 springs.
I'm about 260 lbs, and my wife, No bottoming, handles sweet.
I run them on the 3/rd setting with my wife, I can run them on the 1 or 2
    with just me, no problems.

The S model is a "rock" very stiff. Progressives in the front end also.
Seering damper, fork brace, 1100 swingarm, handles like a train on rails, but a stiff ride. works for me.....

Thank you KGB. I'll call Progressive today.
Do you know if I can just buy the springs and take the old ones off of my current stock shocks?
