    RearSets

I'm looking at doing a custom set of rear sets. Does anyone know where I could source a shift and brake arm that I can use for the linkage, or is my best bet salvaging some from a parts bike?

I used a set stock first generation R1 rear sets and fabricated brackets from 3/8 aluminum plate, best part is I got the set for $80 can. The reason I choose them was because the rear master cylinder is incorporated into the rear set, no need for extra linkages.

That's pretty sweet... and the price was certainly right.

Similar... I don't recall what they came off of, but I found them on Craigslist. I had a buddy cut some aluminum stock that I used to mount them to the existing peg holes.

Shift and brake arms can be made easily by using an appropriate length piece of tubing and welding nuts on each end. Heim joints can be had on ebay or most industrial supply stores.
