    yoshimura valve colletts wanted

    i'm looking for some yoshi valve colletts for a gs1000r i'm putting back together, maybe someone has enough for one or two valves in their spares?

    If you are looking for shim UNDER buckets, Jay at APE has them.

      Put up a pic Spyda. Showing valve stem dia - and where the raised ring comes on the inside.

          yip, it's a GS1000R yoshimura motor

            So looking at the valve groove, it's a single step collet. No raised ring like later stuff, just an internal step like a British product.

            I've made that type of collet for quite a few motors, it's not hard. I'd do them for you but the condition I'm in at present I don't trust myself on the lathe.
            Got someone local to you - or Neville Mickelson ?

            Waiting for a triple bypass - and not happy....
