6.46 Last Night-- Best Todate

Ran two 6.46's, one 6.50 and 6.51 last night down the 1/8.

I finaly got a dial indicator so I can see where my cams are degree at this week.

Running a 14-46 gearing and was wondering what a 48 gear would do.

Maybe I can get into the 30's soon.

60's, two were 1.46's, one 1.44 and 1.43

With alittle more tuning on the clutch I think it will get in the 1.30's

Thanks, as for the box I did try it and boy is that a weid feeling waiting for the bike to launch by itself. My button was at a bad angle and cause a few problems leting it go. I just couldn't seem to let go of it at the first amber I guess with all my runs my mind is alittle slow. But with some more practice I'll like it more.

Great times Jake. Tell me, how does the box help your times? You let go, and wait for the thing to launch you, how is that different then just letting go on the last amber? The only thing I can think of is allowing you to get a better grip of the bars.

Are you still shifting with a button, or is the box shifting for you?

You decided what route you're taking with your engine yet?

For most people, you are faster on the first thing that changes (top bulb). Depending on the box (and software in the box :twisted: ) there are many other features besides delay that can help. Using crossover you can have up to three chances at the tree. Trigger off the other guys top bulb, screw that up then trigger off your top buld, screw that up and trigger off your bottom bulb. If that's not enough you can add or take away delay on the fly from your reaction.

Crossover is great when you have the faster bike. Say they dial a 11.50 and you dial a 8.20. You can get a bit jumpy waiting those three seconds then you redlight. If you trigger off their bulb, it's done and you just wait for the bike.

As for me that's to much thinking and pushing buttons so I just got a basic delay box. One thing at a time for me until I know what the heck I'm doing.

I just want to get a consistent RT then move up to the more advance box'es in a few year's

Still using the air shifter. This winter the race cut tranny is going in to stop those few mis-shifts.

Most likely go Nitrous this year.
