Updated Wheels, brakes for 78' 1000

Does anyone have experience with putting newer wheels and brakes on a 78 GS 1000? I love the look of newer 3 spoke wheels with the large drilled rotors. If someone has made this conversion I would like to know the easiest way to do it? Do I need to change forks and if so is there a particular year and model that fits better? Do I need to change the master cylinder? What about the rear wheel? Thanks. Kevin

It is easiest to get a complete front end, forks wheel brakes etc.

Rear end I have no idea.

If you want better than putting on alloy spoke wheels, then new front end an GSX11000 swingarm or aftermarket swingarm is the way to go. The standard tube GS1000 swingarm just has no room for much wider tyres.

Easier to just put stickier tyres on all the time and replace them
