    1166Wiseco 13.5 to 1 pistons

    going from a 1166 flat top pistons (10.25 to 1) to 13.5 to 1 pistons anything to look out for? any changes to make?

    The only thing except high octan fuel is the size of the base gasket. Don't go to small on the base gasket. When I fix my case I used a thinner tan color gasket as compared to the old one (Black and I think it was .020) my pistons would kiss the bottom of the sparkplugs making the gap smaller.

    It didn't due any damage but when my time would fall off I'd check them plugs and regap them and the bike picked back up.

      Don't underestimate the need of high octane fuel, at least here (Sweden) it's not posssible to buy at the pump, you need addtives.

        13 1/2 is race only for a gs OR ####limited street use with 110 octane race gas
