found these on ebay and I was wondering if they would fit on 1100 cases?

The 1150 block will fit on the 1100 but the 1150 pistons have 20mm wrist pins and your 1100 crank has 18mm wrist pins so something has to be changed.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

I measured my blocks,
Stock block GS 1100 (1075cc) at the OD on the bottom of the sleeve i got 3.095.
1166cc sleeved block at the OD on the bottom of the sleeve i got 3.095. This tells me that the sleeve is stepped to fit a stock case.
1150 block (1135cc) at the OD on the bottom of the sleeve i got 3.178. so the 1150 block is .083 bigger than an 1100 block. So it's looks like alittle clean up is need to make the 1150 block fit.
MTC block (1395cc) at the OD on the bottom of the sleeve i got 3.368 so I think this sleeve is step too.
I wish i would have tried to install my 1150 block on my 1100 case before I had it bored to see where it touches1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

Why did they go to the 20mm wrist pins...was there a problem with the 18s?
Or was this because they knew people were building the *@%^$*@%^$*@%^$*@%^$ out of these motors?Comment

I've heard the 1100 rods are good for over 200hp. Change spec. and kept the cost higher and longer.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

I put a 1200cc EF cylinder on my 1100 bottom a couple of years ago, it ALMOST fits.

Have you seen Bertauts site...I think he put a gixxer 1100 head/cylinders on an GS 1100 bottom.
Guess you can make anything fit if you want to bad enough!Comment

the 18mm rods (1100) rods are stronger tha the 1150 rods, you can easily build a motor to run 7.60's 1/4 with a small tire (7") to run with stock 1100 rods, but if you were running a big tire (10" or 11") and want to fly 7.40's and faster katana rods with the 18mm pin is the way to go,
im not sure about the 1150 block i have an 1150 block here with 1463 sleaves in it LOL needless to say the cases needed to be bored for that...sorry i couldnt help on that...richieComment
