got a 550 front rim, couple things to note, you need to use the 450 disc and spacer for it to work. the 450 mag was 25.75lbs of unsprung rotating mass, the 550 with the 450 disc is 22.88lbs. 2.87lbs lost up front

the one on the left is from the 450

changed out the carbs to a fresher set, also changed the O-rings and intake boot bolts from http://www.cycleorings.com/, money well spent (shameless plug).

been looking to do something to this bike over the winter, here are the plans
-448cc to 498cc (maybe depending on my other projects time allotment)
                  -valve adjustment
                  -oil change
                  -fork seals
                  -brake pads
                  -SS brake lines

did some stuff today, been meaning to get rid of my old taillight since it was cracked. made a new head light bracket because the old one was an eyesore and the light stuck out to far. added a sissy bar to haul some stuff.

had to cut off and smooth out the spot where the bump was for the screw

21" front rim is here!!! now I need a tube, tire, and brakes. should get it 1st week of january. also made the wiring super simple and hopefully bullet proof

I actually made 2 so I have one for my cafe project. if there is an interest in a diagram I'll make one up. this is just head/tail light, ignition and charging. I made it with as little confusion as possible for reliability and easy roadside repair. it also comes out in about 3 mins roadside for easy fixes.

and dont tell my wife I had the shovelhead in the house

That shovel is sweet. The Suzuki is looking rather nice as well. Whatcha goin to do with all these bikes? You only got one ass and can't put it on all three?

5, all 5 bikes. depends on the mood. they are priceless in the therapy of my PTSD. I always have somewhere to put my head.

2 GS's both on here. cafe isn't finished but when it is I think my wife will ride it. the chop is for local stress relief

3 harleys 70 shovel is for longer stretched out rides, its heavy, handles like crap around town, but its alot of fun to kick start and chug along on the highway. 71 ironhead is getting a makeover into a super narrow and light chopper(think wheelies and lane splitting) 75 ironhead is on its last leg so I'm gonna sell it.

but I always have a runner and a project.
