Lookin good dude. I ordered the same seat but got mine from cycle recycle. Its not mounted yet because I can't figure out how I want it on there. Since this is my first project that I actually cut parts of the frame out of I'm having trouble placing things. The bike and the seat/rider placement look different in photos.

won a sportster tank on evilbay, should have it by the end of the week. also ordered the ignition with only 2 posts and barrel style keys.

things that need to be addressed
                - carb rebuild
                - finish wiring (wire up a light switch)
                - chain
                - rear brake linkage needs 4 inches added
                - brake pads, oil change and filter, clutch, and air for the tires
                - shorten throttle cable

                things that aren't that important
                - rear fender
                - suicide shifter
                - exhaust

my wife is going away from friday until monday I'll be very drunk and greasy for those days.

                      thanks, I'll add these.

my friends grandfather turned 85 yesterday, so we partied a bit. while we were playing flip cup I caught a glance of a 30 gallon fish tank stand next to the garbage, they said I could have it

good 1/4" bar stock, I just stuck the "s" in for the pic. don't know if I'll use it yet, we'll see when the bike is almost done

                      and some flip cup action

That's got to be the ugliest bike build I have ever seen....you should just send it my way and let me take care of that poor abused bike

                          Cool build...looks like fun!

                            PM me your address..

its a lot of fun, I didn't want to tear into a triumph or harley and destroy a big buck ride my first time building a bike to this extent. I'm learning a little.

fixed the throttle cable yesterday with a bmx cable. extended the rear brake linkage with an old track hub I converted to quick-release skewer. also experimenting with an old set of pedals that I had floating around as spares, never could throw them away because they were so old and cheap looking
