What are you doing for gauges and how are you running the spedo. I have the same bike I bought new in 1984 as a leftover. I just wrecked my 04 GSXR 1000 and plan to do a front end swap to the old bike. Can't wait to see your bike when it is done. Jp

                            Fantastic bike build.
Looking forward to seeing this completed.

Attension to detail is very good....

I have just purchased a 82 1100E (again)and are planning somthing simular. Always loved these bikes. Had one some years ago and sold it to build a Kat1135 which i still have but like you I have pictures of Isleman 1100E from Old Skool site... had had to get another...

Anyway wanted to drop in and say fantastic bike.. hope you don't mind me asking you some questions.

What year GSXR1100 forks are suitable? Im looking at some 1990 GSXR11 forks complete with front wheel, disc's and calipers etc. Any reason why you used Bandit wheels and not GSXR wheels?

Seems easy to get the whole front end and bolt it in..

                                thanks
