any problems with your 750 as far as the air box install?
It was tricky getting it in, I used a little WD-40 on the frame and turned it at an angle and it slid in. Wasn't as bad as I thought. The bigger problem is going to be getting the carbs back in..

My next bike!!! Nice work. That's exactly what I've been lusting after. When I get a nice house upstate it will host one of those puppies!

Thanks man, it has some issues I may sell it, it is way to small for me. But definitly has the cool factor.

That's funny, I never thought about it being too small. I suppose the 1100s were exactly the same size. My gs1100 is barely the perfect size for me at 6'5" so I wouldn't want to downsize at all.

                  Whew!

                  Restoring to stock.

I was afraid you might try to pull an OSS job on it.

It's just in too good of condition.

Did you ever find out what type of pipe it has on it?

Hah! no OSS on this one..going as close to stock as possible, I hate seeing guys chop these things up. The pipe is a Vance and Hines I think, the header is kind of rough but the can might clean up. Probably going to get rid of it. You want it..?

Naaa.. no need for it really.

                            Thanks.

But, if you come across a V&H system in your ventures like you have on the 700ES. I would be interested. Actually it is the pipe I was looking for back in 2001, but I was unable to locate one thus why the chrome megaphone on the 700E now.

I seen an 86' GSXR1100 on CL for $2500 in Ft Worth.

Hooker Headers? Looks like a V&H to me. lol

Anyways, would be a nice match.

Is that just the light, or is that a leg print in the right side of the tank?
