    rear sets mocked up

The project continues......here's the rear sets mocked up. Just need to have the templates cut out in 1/4" plate, drill the holes, bolt them on and they'll be permanent.

    Looks good!

Was it easy to decide where to locate them ?

No, I played with lots of different locations. Mostly mocking them up then sitting on the bike. It's hard to simulate actual riding conditions. You need to make sure your feet are in a natural position to make using the brakes as easy as possible for obvious reasons.

Good point. I'll keep that in mind when I go to the machine shop.

          Hi,
i see that you will had to do some welding on the shifter lever, when this time come, you could probably weld threaded bungs to the frame.I know it only a mock up but the plate look huge.Maybe with holes drilled in them???

I know what you're saying Marc. But others are using plates & if I paint them black they should "disappear". Hopefully anyway.
