    Hi all have finally done the respray on my GS1000G cafe racer!, been 2 months rebuilding, but all done now!

        I like it. Looks like a cool ride!

          Does indeed look cool. I remember that stoop, and those red railings from your initial postings when you first started working on the bike. Here's what he started with, guys:

                Oops, you may have overpainted a classic…

                I just realized, I saw that bike before. I think it used to belong to Joe Strummer. I heard Eric Clapton had it painted up that way and gave it to him as a joke, because Strummer said he was a big fan of Cream.
                I could be wrong.

                  The rear brake line is routed wrong, which may be why it's too long. It needs to route forward out of the master and then loop down and back to the caliper. Check your service manual for more details.

                    I was just wondering what happened to you. Bike looks good. I like front fenders also.

                        Wow, Joe strummer is a bit of a hero of mine. Love The Clash, and I live in Ladbroke Grove, West London, where the clash formed. any ideas how I could check if he owned it?
