Finally finished my GS1000G cafe racer, (for now, haha!)
Hi all have finally done the respray on my GS1000G cafe racer!, been 2 months rebuilding, but all done now!

Does indeed look cool. I remember that stoop, and those red railings from your initial postings when you first started working on the bike. Here's what he started with, guys:

Oops, you may have overpainted a classic…
I just realized, I saw that bike before. I think it used to belong to Joe Strummer. I heard Eric Clapton had it painted up that way and gave it to him as a joke, because Strummer said he was a big fan of Cream.

The rear brake line is routed wrong, which may be why it's too long. It needs to route forward out of the master and then loop down and back to the caliper. Check your service manual for more details.Ed
