Picked up the Metalcast on clearance at the local Wally World. This a kind of Candy paint, silver base with a clear pigmented top coat.Looks good but its a little fragile. The Plasti-kote is used on pretty much everything else. It's they're satin black, love the stuff!

Some people here over dramatizeIt will be done when it is.Yes I'm moving along OK?
To that end got a few things done

Put this on and went no not good enough. So:

off to the parts bin. Then to the buffer to polish it up.
The only shifter cover I got.Pretty sad, other than spending $ on EBay what am I going to do.If anyone says duct or electrical tape I will hunt you down and.........

Got the rear brake stuff all hooked up,pegs to.Going to polish the rear brake lever to.

I am so glad that my husband is now getting on with the work on his bike. If spring comes and it isn't ready to ride he will be a very upset man, which I really don't need.

I've used their appliance epoxy paint in black and you are right... though stuff! Funny, I saw the stainless just th other day and read the label. Claims it has actual stainless steel for the metalics.
    THANKS!

    It's this stuff

I was looking for something close to the stock frame color. This stuff was recommended in another thread.Very tough rattle can paint.Putting the engine in twice barely touched itThis color is the bonus of that choice..Mechanically it's getting there.Big chunk of bodywork to do,remember it's:

An EFF,lots of plastic to be sanded, even with a power sander
