Not much to report.Refining the primer coats to get rid of imperfections. Will wet sand most of the spot filling primer off then finish with a primer/sealer.Paint is a possibility this weekend. If I don't get it done now I'm not going to be able to for 2 weeks.

I am NOT a painter but I wonder if it is wise to wet sand the spot filler? I though fillers were porus and sucked in the water. Also I figured wet sanding may give it too smooth a surface for the paint to stick, best use a 220 or 400 dry on the filler.
Like I said, I am no Pro by any stretch of the term when it comes to painting...

Seems choosing a colour has been going on for a long time.Complicated by the fact I want to get 1 colour for both bikes. We may have a winner.A dark horse colour has come up and may be the winner.Suspect I will be chossing at the paint store

Yeah somewhat, was thinking a blue like this
That really clashes with my gear though. That yellow was at the back of my mind for some time.Loved it the first time I seen it at my buddies shop.

Yep that blue certainly would clash! However, that blue is pretty much what I'm thinking for mine with one or two pearl white stripes...1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie
