Nice looking plastics! I do like the look of the fully faired 750's, they're sweet. Are you gonna paint the mesh the same champagne color as the body?

Nice progress and of course love the pics!

That sounds like it would be an excellent deal! Parts for time at a booth... that would be very handy indeed!

It was really nice to hear from my friend today.Seems he traded his 84 GS750E for a ratty RZ350,to give the guy a better bike. This guy and his father have a spray booth set up.As I'm the guy with 83 750 parts in the area I think I can swing a deal to get access to the booth. That would be really nice!

Got it on and it feels much better than the one I had on there.
    Pictures of the tank to

Found out the fairing is not ABS.Silvered up part of the spare one and put it in acetone to make a slurry. After a week it did nothing. So taking some advice from a friend I tried plastic welding. The holes in it where small so I poured off the acetone from my slurry attempt and used a soldering iron to melt the slivers. It worked great!

Some Bondo and primer and the tanks looking pretty good.If it was not Kreamed I think the 85's tank would have been less work.

Yeah that is one.The dark spot to theright lower down is a bigger one.The lead should seal them up.

Seems to me I remeber something about pink.Well on to what this thread is for.

Wirebrushed this stuff and found 2 holes.Just great!

More rust in these areas.A little dent to.So I filled them old school with lead solder.Going to use body filler after work then primer.

My husbands last comment is to remind me that he is sick of the fact that I love purple so much. In one way I admit that I can understand how he feels, I don't even wear anything most of the time that isn't purple!
