This bike has been badly butchered. I have rebuilt both handle bar switches. The engine kill switch wires were melted together, yet did not make contact. The orange with white stripe wire going to the coils were both completely bare at the coils, melted from a dead short somewhere. The fuse holder shows signs of over heating, blown fuse of course. All the cluster bulbs were blown as well. Something caused this bike to over charge I think at one time.

Frame Picture request please help!
I need a picture of a 77-79 GS750 or same frame, under the fuel tank the middle tank support. I need a picture of the metal piece that is welded between the two tubes that has the 1"x3" rubber tank support on it. As close up as possible, and with out the rubber on it. The previous owner cut this support out of my frame so a GS550 tank would fit. Well now I have the right tank, and want to replace it. I have the rubber piece, but need a pic of the holder so I can make a new one and weld it in.
