the pedals actually work awesome. plenty off room for your feet and they pivot when you shift or brake.

I have the stock side covers. One of them is broken somewhere but they both stayed on the bike still. I'll dig them out. Make me an offer. Also have the stock seat in good condition.

I was thinking about hard tailing it but decided against it. So glad I did it rides rough the way it is and I love riding it. Put 300-400 miles on it in the last couple weeks and plan on plenty more. Don't think I could do it on a hard tail.
