Put together this sissy bar pretty quick today... still needs a ton of cleaning up.

Also did a little mocking up with different tanks or mounting...

        A little higher mounted:

        Frisco'd regular size sporty tank:

        Mounted lower:

        What do you guys think?!

Personally I would mount that tank lower like u have it, def gives a meaner look that way i think!

What did u use to make that sissy bar and how tall is that thing ?

I will say I like the sissy bar. I agree with the tank lower, but I got to say I am not crazy about the Handle bars. They don't have any flow. They seem way to narrow for the triple trees. Just my opinion. Other than that I have to agree with everyone else.. man you work fast. You wouldn't happen to be a welder by trade would ya..lol. Anyway I do like the new lines of the bike versus when you first got it. I had thought about stretching my next winter project like that so I would not need forward controls but after seeing how yours was stretched originally that way I don't think I will go that route. Keep up the work and keep the pics coming.

I think the last pic is the best with the tank, although it could just be the angle, but lower is definitely better.

I'm also not sold on the 'bars, and too narrow is also what comes to mind for me, I think that would feel very awkward.

That sissy bar is definitely a nice piece of work though and I like how you've incorporated the rising sun into it.

I'm not a welder by trade, but I am a mechanical engineer. I try to get as much done as I can when I have the time!

If I go with the regular size sportster tank instead of the mini one, I will definitely narrow it or something.

AND, as for the bars. I like them, but I will probably build a few more sets before it's all said and done. Yes, they are narrow, but they are actually super comfortable and not hard to handle...

Cool, after all you gotta ride it, so if they work for you then that's all that matters

Besides I'll only have one hand on the bars most of the time anyways...
