I would recommend going through ALL the electrical connections on it, from the taillight to the headlight. Over time the connectors will corrode and cause resistance and could possibly cause charging and other issues.

The misses had a small job for me to do. Pick up some papers at a friends place about 20km away. They confirmed it would fit into a backpack. Ideal settings for another testride.
The bike runs fine in all revs now.
I love this little bike more and more.
@Larry D: I will consider checking every connection. But for the moment everything works fine. (except the light inside the kmcounter)
Maybe I'll do it this winter or when problems popup.
Thanks for the advice anyway.

There was still one issue I was a bit concerned about.
When i pulled the choke the revs dropped and the bike died.
So i did some research here on the board and all info i foung was there must be some leak in the airintake system.
So searched for more than 1 hour and rechecked everything.
The boots and o-rings are new and tight, checked the airbox boots and retightened them. I sealed the airbox lid.
But still no result.
Then i saw there are 2 little screws at the bottom from the airfitlerbox holding the plastic part to the metal part. I checked them and they were loose!
They were hard to reach with a hot motor. But they are tight now.
And the choke works as i shoud.
The bike does perform better than before.

Belgian countryside.
On todays testride I woke the little devil inside. It went without problems to the 10k rpm in first 3 gears. I had to hold it becaus it was already above the speedlimit. I hit 140 km/h on the tacho were 120 is allowed. That was fast enough because of the wind on the head. On the smaller roads 70 or 90 km/h is the limit. That are nice speeds for the bike.
I like the little bike more and more.

The boy in the picture is my son. People say he looks like his ma.
Maybe one day he likes motorcycles as much as i do, maybe not.

The choke problem is solved. I hope for good this time.
I learned that cleaning the carbs is a serious job.

We are 5 months and 1000km further. I took the velorex off the bike this summer.
I rode the bike for small trips and getting to work. The bike never let me down.

This is a cool build. Did you have to over haul the suspension to cope with the rig?
More pictures!!!
