Looks cool. Where did you get the seat from?

I'm finally getting everything wired up, which for as simple a task as it seems, have proven very time consuming. The switch in the brake lever was worn out so i spent last night trying to use the bits from the clutch lever.

getting super close! my buddy is building the wiring harness and doing a great job, but really taking his time. in the mean time i'm trying to work out all the details.

Started up for the first time last night since taking everything apart. Runs well!

The petcock and float bowls leak. I ordered gaskets and a rebuild kit for Z1 today.

The video sounds louder than the bike really is. I had to crank it a million times to start it the first time, but after warming up it starts immediately.

Now for the fun part- making it run right. i know this will be a bear because i messed with the intake and exhaust so much, but it's heartening that it idles well right now.

Ordered float bowl gaskets, petcock rebuild, and k&n filters (the same ones D-Mac used on his build).

I have fuel leaks everywhere right now, so tuning is on hold until the stuff shows up.

Did I mention all the wiring is new now? modern reg/rec, inline fuses and aftermarket switches.

This is an awesome build! I'm going to do my best to try to duplicate what you did with your seat.

the stuff showed up. filters fit really nice. wiring is still kinda hanging around.

my points gover didn't quite fit with the electronic ignition.

                                now it does!
