Guess I was wrong. They don't fit.Could probably mod them to fit but I'm not going to.Give them back to my friend looking better than they did.

So it seems I might not have a project for this winter.I have made some mistakes with this bike I would like to fix.Biggest one is not adding enough catalyst to the clear when I painted the bodywork. It is VERY soft.Much better polisher, with better equipment as well.So unless something else comes up reworking Old Yeller might be this winter's project. Now the question is will she be Yeller at the end?

Been having charging problems with Yeller. In a couple of trips up Island the battery was going dead as I was going up.Got real good at bump starting her, right Trevor
So I bought 2 of these voltmeters for $4 and change from China.Showed me that the bike was charging when I left but stopped 1/2 way though my 20 min commute. As I have a good PH009 MOSSFET R/R that was not the likely problem.
Thinking this might just be the problemPO's(we need a shaking head smiley)
The other side and the one I put in.Good solid 13+ volts now

IF you need a project you can pop by L.A. and grab my boxes and boxes of parts I'll be getting. I'll come up to ride the complete bike back to Los Angeles come spring, cool?

Yeah I guess so,but odds where against you as well as my lack of storage room.
So we are off the road today as the insurance has run out.The tires are looking worn and so is the paint.Want to repolish the stuff that I did back when I was learning the process.Still an open question whether she will be Old Yeller when she's done.

All the bits off the bike.
The tank is the worst looking bit.
The sanding I got done today before I got tried of doing it.Even with 80 grit on a sander it takes a lot of time.

All the soft clear is off.Can only do so much at a time and I've been splitting the time getting the Red Skunk's tank ready for paint.Need to fix a few things then sand with 150 then 400.Still not sure what I'm going to paint it http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=206721
