Since the 750 is in a bit of a holding pattern I did some 1000 work:

Put in the "new" harness.Had to move the plate for the 83 750 fusebox down to clear the side cover. Then I found this out http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=211189

Put these in to,will wire them with a relay from Rustybronco, thanks again Dale.Looking at the wiring again I REALLY don't know why the other one burned down.Happens again I'm thinking I'll part the bike out.All the hassle getting this harness has just not been worth the heartache.

Did the pinstripes,do I wish I had the stick to it to do them by hand.Don't feel steady or patient enough to do the practice.Wimped out and bought stripes in other words. On to clear!

Did the white this morning. While the wind that's been blowing the last 2 days took a bit of a rest.It isn't perfect but then I'm not Larry http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/member.php?u=16374 either After colour sanding and clear she should be a very good 10 and maybe 5 foot bike.

Jerry is an absolute perfectionist.I think his fairings are the best made fairings in the world.Sure they almost all look alike, but you cant rush quality, he wont do it, and your fairing will last a lifetime once on your bike.Mine cost $1400 with the lowers, 1000 without. But you can easily drop 500 on a memphis shades with quick disconnect mounts.I got better gas mileage with my yamaha after the fairing was on, plus you could feel no wind at all on a cold winters day coming head on.For those guys who only want handlebars and no shield its a no go.But bevel drive engines are not as good as a GS engine.
