The bars are narrow, but I'm used to it and they are actually really comfortable.

The ignition finally crapped out on the other 450...which is the reason I'm back working on the chopper. Just figured I'd take that as a sign that I need to get back on a chopper haha. I'll be running the wheels and carbs from the other bike to start with so I'll only have one running bike here in the next week or so when this one hits the road...
Cool, as long as you're comfortable that's all that matters

I see said the blind man... so is it HEI time or you gonna leave it for a bit? I've still got stuff going on for the HEI setup but it's taking a while. The Dynatek does seem to work well though, but of course there are some $$$ involved in that one...

Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier I'd love to go to Barber too...

I'll work on the HEI stuff as soon as I get all the other stuff mounted up here and there and get ready to make it run.

As for Barber, just fly on over and I'm sure we can accomodate your stay

Cool, I'm focussing on finishing mine at the moment, but I do want to finish off the HEI stuff as well. They Dynatek will let me finish and get riding though

Sure when's Barber? Hahaha... yeah I wish...

Got a few little things knocked out this evening...

Made a crossmember for the seat stays and one of the fender mounts

Still kinda waiting on the sissy bar until I get some material and a gameplan

Then stared for a while and figured out the best way to hide the coils... Stuff them under the tank!

Haven't mounted the tank yet, but it slides right over the coils into position

Step back and take another look

                Definitely taking shape

I thought the game plan for the sissy bar was big?

Ha well I'm not sure a tall sissy bar would hold up too well on my daily commute... It would be like a large tuning fork back there haha

Hahaha we can't have that now, it ain't a Yamahaha!

                        Right here

Dynatek is the world leader in high performance electronic products for motorcycles. Best-in-class ignition solutions, fuel tuners, coil kits and more. Shop Online!

It's currently listed only for the GS400 twins from '77 - '79 as a points replacement. Look under sport bikes and Dyna S and it's there. It's a higher price than the others because it replaces your stock coils as well which probably isn't such a bad thing given they're 30 years old

Actually the wires are extra, but they're good silicon wires
