    Much quicker.
What black crap? The side cover itself is black lol.

OK. I'll get some more paper. I already know the sanding and prepping procedures. It's just that all I had was 220 grit and didn't feel like going to the store .

My top end oiler and carbs are gone by the way.

Painted the front fender and right side cover.

It was done with Dupli-Color's Chrysler rattle can paint. Remember that I'm on a budget. The red matched the original OK but you can tell lol. I'll install them tomorrow. Still need to wet sand then polish them.

I will get a real paint job done whenever I can afford it....

Ummm... Would I have wanted a mis-matched bike like last time? I would rather not have to paint the gas tank right now either.

Besides, I'm about to register the bike next week .

If FC is lucky, a lot of girls will like that color.

              Hehe .

If you're like 10 ft away, you won't notice the differences in the red.

So what do you guys think?

Right on! The filters are there because I didn't have any rags to stuff the intake manifolds with .

Looking good FC. I would be tempted to do the rest of the bodywork in the same way...
