Sheesh. I TRADED my parts for the champagne bodywork. Not one penny has been spent for them.

Besides, there is a nice big dent on top of the tank, lots of rust inside, and the paint isn't so great as it looks in the pictures.

The tail piece is missing the two tabs on the back and the paint isn't so great either.

I had to sell a **** load of my stuff (iPod is gone ) just to get that harness too.

It feels like I'm being accused of something lol.

And it's really none of your business what I spend my money on.

Maybe this is why he is broke?

PS Champagne looks awesome on these bikes.

What do you mean? I spent $80 for the wiring harness and electrical parts from katman.

And the parts I got from sschering were traded. My stuff for his stuff. Zero moola.

Remember that I also have a job now, so I'm not exactly broke.

Or do you mean something else?

Wiring harness and other electrical parts received from katman. This is from a 1983 Suzuki GS1100E.

Right after I cleaned it up.

Removed the old harness which came from an 80 or 81 GS1100E.

Then I stuck the 83 harness on. It went pretty good until I found some wires that are missing connectors. I need to go buy a crimper so that I can continue. The stator wiring, R/R wiring, and horn need connectors. Other than that, looks very good. I haven't looked at the headlight bucket wiring yet though....

A different fusebox has been installed too.

These came from sschering. It's not in the best condition. Just for mock up I guess lol. How's the champagne? I really like it! I just wish it was usable as is.

OK Allen, I went and gave this thread a 5 star vote.....and guess what? Now the thread has a 4 star rating! That means that only a few people have even voted, if my vote could change it that much. Now quityourbitchen and fix the bike! Who cares how many stars you have?

Don't stress the stars man.. I never pay much attention and just ramble on most of the time.. Nice meeting ya today.. Sorry I was in a rush to get back home and couldn't hang out longer.

That last fuse I pulled was the accessory power fuse..

Best I can figure it was just dirty contacts and re-seating the fuses got it working again.

i keep reading your thread stars or no stars... it's actually very rarely that threads are rated at all... so having people bother to give stars to your thread at all, i would take as a good thing

No, I'm not posting because I am not doing anything with the bike.

I keep posting the exact same thing. "Oh hey, my lights work and now they don't." I went back into my thread and that's what I saw. No one wants to read the exact same thing all the time right?

That's weird about the fuses, glad it's working though I guess.
Yeah, whatever. I'm not gonna post until I do something as you said. It may be a while....

Could be! I'll take a look later today. And if it is melted, I have another fuse box to replace it.
