Now I have some bad news. I found a pretty nice set of bodywork on eBay but I do not have enough money (because I bought riding gear ). The seller said that he will not hold them for a week either. The next best thing to do is pass it on to you guys.
I LOOOOVE the color!!! But does SVSooke like it?
Man... Riding gear will always be there on eBay but a nice set of bodywork will not.

I guess no one likes the bodywork... Well I do!
I'm gonna be sooo ****ed if it goes with only 1 bid at $49...

The tank has a nasty dent and the panel that is adjacent to it may be damaged from the same impact. I cannot see ti clearly in the picture.
Never fall in love on ebay.

FC the condition of your bodywork looks fine to me, and that dent will be a bugger to get out where it is...
If you're looking for an alternative set, be patient and wait for a better set to come along, at least that's what I'd do given yours is more than useable for the moment.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Shipping is between $80-$90. My max bid is probably $100 right now. But you really don't have to if that's what your thinking.
The seller said that he'd include GSXR triples and a bent front wheel if I win. Interesting proposal but...

Shipping a bent wheel sounds like a losing proposition.
80 bucks is insane on the shipping as well. He is gouging.
I had a tanked shipped from FLA to Canada for 50 USD.

FC...that body work may be better than yours, but it's not good...
Let it go, get the bike running good and then worry about cosmetics...
Keep your eye out and before next spring you will find a nice set of body panels....
They come up now and then...Bob T. ~~ Play the GSR weekly photo game: Pic of Week Game

It already is running good.
Yeah, I'll let it go. Love the color on it though.
I guess I'll just focus on the electrical problem like I should be which I haven't even looked at yet...
