Good. I'll be following along.
Just sold mine this week and its being picked up on the weekend....if I can get the coil relay mod to work. I found I was down 2 volts at the coil and it wouldn't start. I wired in a relay tonight but after blowing a fuse or two I figured the relay was toast. I'll have to pick up another tomorrow and get this done before the new owner turns up.
Good luck with the project.
Cheers,
Spyug.

If this one turns out like all the rest of your restorations, Nardy's beauty might have a worthy companion. They've aged very gracefully and look better then ever today. PM me if you need a re-paint, Joe. I'd love a chance to be on board with this one, too.1979 GS1000S,

I had a line on one but the guy seemed to be reluctant to sell it and he was very hard to get a hold of. I tried another run at it a couple of weeks ago but he's still playing hard to get. It was a low miles Kat like yours so I was thinking you may have gotten to him.

Man even with the taped up rear, missing bodywork and dirt it is still a good looking bike man. Great starting point to make a sweet rider.
