I was hoping you would see this post.

I'll have to post pictures of them when I get home late this evening. They look even nicer than the crankshaft did!

    Pictures...

    Yeah it do look perty!

And the camshafts that 'just' arrived in the mail, I suspect will look as good as the crank.

Get 2 bottle of MR Clean and a tub big enough to submerge the head and jugs ( seperately of course ). Put the 2 bottles of MR Clean in and add the part. Fill with water till covered and let them sit a day or two. The gunk will almost melt off and just some little scrubbing here and there with a tooth brush will get the knooks and crannies. Rinse with the hose ( or power washer / car wash even better ) and blow dry with the air hose. Ready for the hone and some bead blasting at that point. Suzuki also makes an engine degreaser that kicks Gunk engine cleaner square in the groin!!!

Nothing wrong with the old ones at all, at least nothing a little white sugar sand can't take care of.

Just wanted the new ones because they were nice, clean and dirt cheep. If He would have had the head for sale and in similar condition, more than likely I would have bought it as well.

    Me like Fuel resistant pieces...

    ***edit***
Plus, a new wrist pin with shipping would have been almost as much as those four pistons cost.

Yes, just the jugs and pistons.

That's a nice head for the money don't you think?

I've committed to buying both of these item off of Ebay. Just waiting for a grand total.

I figured for the money, it would be easier to clean the new one and sell the old set to recoup some of the costs.

I haven't yet found the spec's for the cam chain. But I guarantee it's still in good shape by the way the tensioner responded.

The crank after I washed it up and wiped it down with oil.
