Between Mindless's GS1150, Blower's 1150 here and this one from the old's kool page, I think the future for my 1150 is sealed!

And yeah, I was thinking of something similar for my carbs (single pod attached to the carb boot) when I ran across your post. I really like that look.

The paint scheme should follow the oldskool cafe racer style (maybe).

Paint?! No way! Polish it up, and MAYBE add a red, black, or blue accent stripe or a stylized cursive Suzuki on the tank. Something simple.

That body is way to pretty to cover with paint.

I´m going to paint only the frame, not the tank or tail.
I´m going to leave the tank & tail as they are now and pinstripe some
race numbers and texts and yes striping colors are black & red.
I try to make it look like old, used race bike, not a new and shiny.

                    Hey Blower!
Don't leave us hanging. I can't speak for the rest of the folks here, but I sure want to see the progress on your bike.

Not much to show. I haven´t been in the garage on the last two weeks.
Anyway i testing my pinstriping skills. Outlining needs more practicing.

Heck, from the pic it looks great! That's going to be one sharp bike when your done. Really makes me want to do a cafe next time. I'm thinking a 2 cylinder 2 stroke would be killer.
