I've got a question about the aluminum sheet you used to form the tank and tail piece. Do you know the designation of the material?
I've got US standard 14 gauge 5086, 5083, and 5456 in my shop and was wondering exactly what you used?

I don´t know the numbers, but it is "marine grade" aluminum.
It´s harder than standard aluminum and more chemically resistant.

I get the oil cooler fastener welded. Under seat is not the best place for oil cooler, but it looks "cooler" there.

... and so is the location of the oil cooler !

Yes, the tank belt is the fuel tank fastener.

Gorgeous work! You are very talented sir. The mufflers look great, really like the classic megaphone look.

Amazing. Is that a single POD air filter element attached to the quad port airboot?

i shouldn't be suprised really that you decided to MAKE your own mufflers, should i?

though, for the size of the bike and espec the tank and the engine i *think* i'd like to see something a bit bigger. maybe...

anyhow, i think I see a front mudgard being fabricated soon
