OK, The car that is gonna drive me to drinkin.

Did a frame off resto on this 68 camaro. Its been back together and I've polished it 3 times due to it hanging around the shop for ever. Each time I polish it i hope it will head out the door soon. It just wont leave. Not sure if its something to do with the owner or my boss or whats going on but it here it still sits Basically just needs a tune up and some carb tinkering to get it running smoothly but it sounds pretty good as is.

Ooooohhhhh My! It's nice to see an SS that doesn't have the RS hide-a-ways. Seeing the headlight out in a previous pic I thought it was in progress. Wasn't expecting something that nice!

Yeah the headlights are out to get the emblems off to polish that area.

I dont think the tank matches the tail at all. In my opinion the lines clash hard. Its got a little belly flab and needs some angles to match your rear.

I agree, but with my height, where I sit for comfort it comes back just the right area without having a huge gap between me and the tank. I wouldn't mind modifying the shape a little though. Thanks for the input.

I think it'll blend much better with some fresh paint. Looking great so far.

As much as I wanted to do an undertail exhaust I think I may hold off for now. It could happen down the road if the right can comes along. I thought about tucking it up under the undertail as well but I plan to have all my electronics in there. So I think dual stubby cans is the road Im going to take for now.

and a little fender trimmin for the front just to see.

Just wondering, when building the exhaust, How crucial is the H pipe connecting the two sides together in the system? I can add it back in no big deal. Probably will anyway just to hold the whole system in one piece. Unless separating the two sides is better? I realize changing the exhaust will probably cause jetting issues so probably by the end of it I'll just go with pods as well with a stage 3 jet kit.

The cans do look good. I'm not sure that the H-pipe is crucial to exhaust flow, but it does provide a way to secure the pipes to the bike a bit better. I know some members here have done a 4-2 without it.

Yeah I think I will put the H pipe back in. For secured reasons and also heard it evened out exhaust flow/pulses a tad to help making tuning just a hair easier.

Swapped out the forks to some that aren't leading axle. Bike sits a bit higher. Think they just aren't completely worn out like the other set. as well they don't leak oil and aren't pitted.

Well not pitted and leaking forks are good. Although your right it does stand a lot taller now. Maybe slide the forks up through the triples a little bike. Should get the front lower and give you a bit quicker steering too.

                              Looking good though!

yeah, Cant slide them much before they hit the bars, but plan to go with clip ons so will be able to then. But will see what it looks like with just a half inch drop before I change the bars.
