I still have my old ignition if you want it, has a good cover if you think you can salvage that part. Although you probably have one on the parts bike...

I like the results on the footpeg brace. That looks great.

              wow, thanks guys!
I am glad you like it so far, would not be able to do all that without all of your rebuilds that i read every weeks, that s where i get most of my motivation to go deep into details.

by the way, title are done! she is officially mine now , yay.

Yeah, I would stay away from their base and head gaskets. Use OEM, it's not that expensive. Love all the pics and detail!

He doesn't have to worry about the base gasket leaking, this style of engines get their top end oil supply thru external lines.

Today was not a good day,
have been sick like a dog all night long and i think that comes from the fact i was too stupid to paint way too much inside the garage, all day long almost, with (at best) a stupid dust mask, my lungs were in fire and pain was hammering in my head!

(the garage door was open but the fact is that the wind was pushing air inside, all day long too...)

so when i started to get ok, i flew to the closest hardware store and bought a good 3M Mask for solvents and all those nasty things.
                        Much better of course!

                        and back to work!
took this baby out of evaporust

                        masked it

and painted it, with caliper paint, of course.

My front calipers are kinda crappy...

spent some time removing all electricals on the fork, takings notes/pictures about every switch and wires.

and finally removed the whole harness

harness that i plan to inspect tomorrow.
and replace every connectors while i am at it!
going to do that outside, under the shy sun with a nice cool beer... aaaaah thanksgiving break day :P

that s it for today, not as much done as i usually do, but well... progress nonetheless.

PS: special note to suzuki about their stupid design on the pin linking the pedal and the rear break master cylinder assembly, what the hell!?

you know, the one right behind there!
