            Very Good!

I noticed over on Gatekeeper's thread that he needs some measurements. Maybe you could help him out if you have a bare frame hanging around?

                Thanks...

The more I have the better and more confident I will be that it's still good, and within spec....

                    Hello! SVSooke.

                    Hello everyone!

Yes, yes, my apologies for such a huge time not doing anything on my GS!
I was not minded for it, personal stuff in the way.

But i kicked my butt yesterday morning and have been at it 14 hours since then.
Actually, i am on vacation for almost 6 more days, which i plan to spend in the garage working on that sweetie!

So , yeah, took me a lil time to clean the garage which got crowded with stuff this winter, then to find back where was everything!

and now, i got a rolling chassis!

To get there, had to finish the front shocks, fill'em up.
Had to go to my dad's mechanic to help me push the lower steering bearing down the shaft!
I tried, and tried, was afraid to damaged the bearing, it took like 3 minutes with the man's press, damn! i want one!

Sanded and cleaned parts here and there around the rear part of the bike.

I stole the rear suspension of my part bike (which as a LOT less mileage on it) had it checked by a motorcycle dealer close by, cleaned it good, put in my project.

when i was about to put the rear wheel, realized i got excited too fast, and guess what... forgot the rear break system... you know the lil asswhipped thingy that you CANNOT put or remove without removing the swing arm/suspension assembly, dammmmmmn!

The good thing is, now i can do all that with my eyes closed! :P

Finished the rear wheel, and put it in.

A big thank to the part bike, that has been ripped off a good lot so far.

and the exhaust line that needs a good sanding, cleaning, painting, as always anyway.

By the way, i ll have to check/clean the 3 calipers, can i push the cylinder out by blowing in a straw? :P

pardon the expression, but it feels F*ckin good to see the frame back on wheels!
