the standard size for the sprockets is 16/45. Would a 17/43 or a 16/43work? What difference would it make.....or do you recommend sticking with O.E.?

With my 450 I've stuck with stock ever since I got her and have never seen a need to change...1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Then go with the 16/43 sprockets. Your final drive ratio will change little to notice.
From 2.81:1 to a new 2.68:1.
You might drop 1 to 2 hundred rpm's in top gear at 70 mph.

Sounds like a fair call to me Daniel
The mirrors from many different bikes should work as long as they're the same thread.
Pretty sure all the Zuk's of the same era used that thread, but can't remember if it's 10mm or 12mm now...
Be careful of Yamaha ones though as they have a left hand thread on the right hand mirror.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Does anyone know if these wheels will work tubeless or do they need to have a tube in them...a regular valve stem won't work in them.....the hole is to skinny.....and if they can be done tubeless where do I find the valve stems.

I won't swear to it but I'm pretty sure they're all tube type wheels...1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie
