    1978 gs 550

I bought a GS 550 a little while ago and as of tonight sold my Yamaha XJ 550 Seca.
I also, as of tonight completed my bike table build.

Time to get started on the GS!

The bike table took about 2 days to build.
    $40 in wood.
    $40 for the wheel chock.
    $20 for Fasteners.

Solid as a rock and heavy as a tank.

    11 2x4's
    doubled up 3/4" plywood
    about 200 screws.

With the help of my neighbor, I will get the bike up on the table tomorrow.

The plan is kinda cafe but the wife insists on seating for two.

Here are some pics. (excuse the mess)

Sorry. I seem to be able to only upload one pic per post.

I plan on posting often with photos as this build goes on.
I need to get it done kinda quick as we are tearing down the house and garage in spring to build a new larger house (and more importantly) garage.

Thanks for checking this thread out.

                Bruce.

Open yourself up a photobucket account and you can put up to ten full size pictures in each posting. See Basscliff's site for the how to guide on doing so.
