Hi guys, dunno if you remember me, I put a 600 bandit engine in a GS550 frame and painted it up in Rizla colours , my orig thread seems to have disappeared so I've started this new one so the likes of pete and charlie g can see the finished article

                Mate she turned out awesome

Love that scheme on that bike, it works well, and once you get her MOT'd I'll bet she'll be a blast to ride

I *just* got my 450 finished and registered the other day, and yeah it's a great feeling once they're done isn't it

Just had life throw some crap at me that I needed to deal with, had gearbox out of car 3 bloody times, father in law died, busy polishing for other people and WSB at Nurburgring all kinda delayed proceedings but for all intents and purposes she's done and i'm pleased .Nice one on finishing yours, yep roll on next project.

I have an 1100 motor hard tail frame and both ends just need a seat and rear fender and we're off again

Thanks, didn't have a definate plan just had to be modern paint and steel frame as I cant weld ally then it was a case of what ever came up and would fit but old meets new was the kinda thing I was trying , nearly went for Skoal Bandit colours but think the Rizla ones look good

Aaaah bugger! Life tends to get in the way sometimes... sorry to hear about your father in law too.

WSB at Nurburgring would've been an awesome distratction though

Great looking bike!! I was trying to dig up your thread the other day as someone was pondering a bandit 12 motor swap, and I knew there was a project on here somewhere that did it.

I love the rizla colors, they look loud and fast!

                              Pretty sweet bike!
I love the mix of old and new. The GS550 tags are cool too
At 6'2" I dont think I could fit on it though she looks like fun.
