85 GS700E Options?
I recently acquired a completely stock 85 GS700E. Its in fairly good running condition, starts first click and rides out pretty nice. I really like this bike but would like to update it a little. Id like a crisper throttle response and better tone from the exhaust along with some new tires (preferrably a fatter rear) and general cleanup. I havent really found any GS700E's like mine that have quite the look Im going for. I just want the typical classic w a moddern twist thing but Im having a hard time finding anything. What are my options?
Ill have better pics soon.

A set of VM29s will wake that puppy up. There are all kinds of things you can do that don't have to cost an arm and a leg. Exhausts of of the oil-cooled GSX-R750s will fit with the first generation pipes fitting the best.
This is my bike with another member in the seat.

Thanks guys- Billy Ricks your bike is kind of where Im looking to go. Love the clip ons. So any exhaust from an oil cooled GSXR750 will do without rejetting? Id have to get a new header as my stock exhaust is 4-2 and if I recall the 750s were 4-1. Can I just swap the entire exhaust and header from a GSXR750?

Ah just noticed you swapped forks and rims too- the inverted forks give it a much nicer stance which did you go with?
