Never throw out a phone number.. GS1000 Turbo
End of the year, going thru all the stuff piled on my desk. I came across a phone number on a piece of scrap paper marked GS1000 / GS1100. I couldn't remember what it was about, called the number and 24 hours later came home with a 1979 GS1000 with a MR Turbo kit installed and a 1980 GS1100L parts bike..... $700 Speedo on the 1000 shows 1770 miles. The 1100 fired right up, sounds good, The turbo bike is going to need a starter, turns over a time or two and then just gives up. I'll be parting out the 1100, The turbo bike will have to be back burnered for a while but I hope to get the project started by spring.Tags: None

Want to sell it for $800 as is?
I'll be helping you out cleaning up the yard and adding to my mess all at the same time.
