The stock horn is loud enough to get a pedestrian's attention but that is about it... The new horns are loud as f*** in comparison... I would highly recommend doing this upgrade to any GS. It is completely reversible. All I have to do is remove the power wire from the solenoid and bolt the stock horn back on.

My stock horn was toast. I replaced it with a load Hella horn. I had to use a relay to make it work. It was worth the trouble. I've now got HONK HONK, insteak of meep, meep....

Definitely worth the trouble! It will be the best $30 I ever spent when the first oblivious cager that crosses my path.

I was lured in by the 15% off OEM parts weekend...
Take the petcock for instance:
Bike Bandit: $73.66. Take away the 15% discount, you are left with 62.61.
G&S Suzuki: $59.74
Boulevard Suzuki: $59.74
Babbitt's: $64.75
Cycle Parts Nation: $62.32
Motogrid: $64.75
Part Shark $64.84
Did you ever stop to think how Bike BANDIT got its name?
See why most of us go to G&S or Boulevard?

That is the reason I bought it from BB. Actually the order arrived pretty quick considering.
Bandit is the name of their mascot
I typically order from Boulevard Suzuki unless I need several things in one stop that BS doesn't list on their website and I can't get from Amazon.

Did you notice that three of the places I mentioned were cheaper than BANDIT?
And those are their regular prices, no need to wait for a "sale".
Yeah, their dog's name is "Bandit", but he was probably named by the store's policy of robbing everybody.
I used to order from BANDIT, back in my early days of ordering parts. For the most part, orders were there in less than two weeks, which I thought was pretty good. A couple of times, something was backordered, they contacted me and asked if I wanted the order split. They would ship what they had, and send the rest later. I think that is great, not everyone does that. However, I later found several other sites that have consistently lower prices, so I have been sending more of my money in their direction, instead.

Finally did some work today. Took care of some small things that were annoying me...
Installed new grips since the originals were too small for my hands. The new ones are a little more bling than I normally would have but they fit the bill nicely.
Adjusted center stand and kick stand bumpers... the new mufflers are very close to the OEM ones but the center stand bumper needed some help. Its kind of difficult to see but the bumper is mounted to a bolt so it extends down.
Installed a hayabusa throttle tube I had laying around. It fits no problem and has a slightly larger tube radius than the stock gs tube. I forgot to take pics of it but the throttle travel is a little better.

Definitely! I rode to work and back all last week. Ran a few errands also. Yesterday was the first rainy day in about 2 weeks so I've been taking advantage of the dry weather
