Looks great...what paint did you use? I know you have weather like we do right now so where did you do it - your garage or some other shop?Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace

I'm starting to think I could copy your build by buying a gsxr1100 then finding a 750 frame and tank! Only kidding, following this thread closely, looking good.

Not trying to be a stick in the mud but I would monitor the welds between the round cross price and where it is welded to the frame. The end off the shock is not inline with the cross price and there is a moment. The new stuff looks strong, just not sure about the frame strength at that point.

Good point i considered extra bracing there but with a battery to mount there wasn't much room. I did change the angle of the shock mount to as straight on as possible. With my experience with using similar mounts for coilover shocks on racecars it should work fine as far as the frame itself the tube was fishmouthed and fit very tight and that location is a strong part. I will monitor it very closely in the first rides.sigpic1982 gs750e 1186 oil cooled engine USD front mono shock rear

The square tube with the deep birds mouth cut welded to the round tube is very strong I'm sure. That is the part that you have probably done before on the car application.
Do you recall how thick the frame tubing was? I'm not sure as to how thick it is here. If it were comparable to the thickness of the new parts it would be close to the same strength.
I'm not saying it will fail, but it is the more likely point to fail and so I would watch it .
