Not much happened over the last bit. Got a few more bits but that's about it.
A set of GS750 oil pump gears from a board member - thanks Tom, an oil cooler from a GS1150, the mounts are going out for powder, and not only a concession, but forced into it a set of stainless brake lines - in the box - the stockers on the left are still here just to verify lengths. They are black clad and other than diameter not many would notice. Not shown is a top end oiler kit - packed away.
Also not shown is a ported head. Someone linked a Craigslist ad for the head and I wound up with it. It's boxed up and packed away. Here's one of the Craiglist's shots.
And a mock up. I was afraid that the r/r would be too close to the breather - even with the snorkel removed. No fear. But to even out the openings the left side was turned into a skeleton. Try for the most air using the stock box. The top will be left off also.
Not quite as close as I had thought. But the entire snorkel is removed. It won't be for lack of trying to get air in there.
And with the electrical panel in place and the rear master cylinder, both side panels on, it may fool some......if they're not too bright?

Anyone got a near virginal bike for some routing shots of the harness and electrical parts hanging in specific spots? If anyone has some backbone spine shots of what mounts on the brackets in the image below can you shoot me some? My old girl had some sort of exploding device go off in this area and parts were just there.....or not. Any images more than appreciated - well of that area on a '82/'83 GS1100. Other images viewed and rated individually.
And also how the headlight relay attaches to where ever?
