    What seals to replace?

I am restoring a 1978 gs 750 that sat for 15 years, some of that outside. It was froze up when I bought it. I am in the process of rebuilding the top end, and rebuilding the carbs. I have new exhaust gaskets and boots for the carbs on order. I am wondering if there are any seals on the engine that I should look at replacing as long as it is apart?

      air box boots
      intake o-rings
      tach 0-ring and seal
there are two o-rings and one oil seal for the auto cam chain tensioner
have a good look at the half moons behind the valve cover caps
There's lots of seals around the kick start, neutral switch, gear change shaft that can leak on a bike sitting that long but I guess you'll see those when you get her running.
If you haven't already bought a valve cover and breather gasket the ones from realgaskets.com are fantastic and last a very long time, well worth it.
If you're doing the top end you must already have all the o-rings for the head.

What Rob says..I just didnt wanna type it all out...go look at the schematics for reference points. And go to BIKECLIFF WEBSITE ( google bikecliff ) and download the 750 8 valve shop manual. All the torque specs and stuff is right there.
