I think the tan exhaust wrap would look good on that bike. As far as your offer to buy it, you have a one of a kind custom so my opinion is set the price at what you feel it is worth if they don't like it tell em too bad. Besides you still need time to enjoy your labor of love.

I love this bike and I'm working on pretty much the same one now. Did you have to modify your frame at all for that seat? It doesn't look like you did at all but I like what you did with it and how your taillights came out as well.

nice to see another 550 cafe project. It looks awsome. your right its almost impossible to find used 4 into 1 pipes. I broke down and went with the Mac 4 into 1 setup and i think it sounds killer. My next step is to buils a seat and mount the electronics underneath. Im a little nervous to tackle this because this is my first bike and build ever, But you gotta lose big to win big.

Can anyone help me find a short fender or should I make my own
Front master locked up again after I cleaned it. So now I'm going to purchase either a rebuild kit or a new master.
Seems like a lot but I kinda like the new resevoir and new look to it. Not sure if it would work or not.
Oh BTW new exhaust is on and clamped

Make your own. I used a stock 550 fender and cut it down with a dremel and cutting wheel. Came out nice, and only took about 10 minutes to make.

Updates.
Bought a new rebuilt master on ebay.
I actually bought two from him, one for my 550, and one for the 750.
I also purchased from an plumbing some flex stainless line, and some banjo fittings. I plan on fixing that front master issue once and for all.
I polished the R/S oil crankcase cover... it was to pitted, so I gave it a nice coat of silver engine enamel and it came out great. While I had the cover off I changed the clutch springs, what a difference. I then proceeded to the other side, popped off the clutch cable, and swapped it out with a new one. I cleaned up the chain area which had 30 years of crap in there.
I'll take some pictures tomorrow when the new lines get here... but I'm very happy with the bike now. The only thing I really really want is spoke wheels.
