Where to get new carb/intake boots
I am thinking I should replace the boots and be done with it. I also need new clamps for both sides. Where can I get these? thanks! also for the screws that plug the hole in the intake for carb synching. How important is it that those have a copper washer on them? I lost one.Tags: None

You're looking at parts 27, 28 and 31 in this picture? All new at the dealer.
number 27 - Intake pipe 13110-44001 - 2 required
number 28 - O ring 09280-40010 -2 required
number 31 - Clamp 09402-54303 - 2 required.
And number 6 in this picture ?
Again at the dealer
clamp 09402-60208 - 2 required
And the copper washer is kind of important as the copper is soft and when toqued will conform to any anomalies on the heads surface. A metal gasket if you you will. Without it, you can have a leak.
Number 8 in the first picture
gasket 09168-06023 -2 requiredLast edited by 6pkrunner; 03-18-2012, 10:35 PM.1983 GS1100E

Haven't you seen Basscliff's Mega Welcome, which details a bunch of good suppliers?
Z1 Enterprises can get you the boots too, you just need to call them first.
Good luckEd

If you don't have a local Suzuki dealer, than I'd suggest Boulevard Suzuki or G&S Suzuki. I've ordered from both and never had any issues. Their prices do seem to be the best. Boulevard has a couple of coupons right now, though they required $100+ purchases.
Can't say what you'll get, but my 550's boots came with the screws/washers for the sync ports. If you want PM me and I'll snail-mail you one or two from my old ones.

So I am thinking that its not the boots that are bad. I sprayed break cleaner all over the carb boots and got no change in RPM. This is what I hear coming from the head http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap7kN13JF1A What do you think guys?
