I see some stainless socket head cap screws there in the background....

Interested in that GSX-G. What are your plans for it?

First, I will make it run again. It only shows 6,900 miles on the ticker.
If I cannot get a clear title for it (probable that I will here), I will see if I can't make it fit with the drive-line into one of my GS1000G frames.
I have yet to measure and think that the engine may be too tall to work without major modifications.
The drive-line fits outside of the frame on the GSX. So that will require some serious measurements, etc.

Video's showing the difference between stock ground wires and added ground wires to the system.
New plug 30 year old coils/wires.

        Before...

        After...

I added one from the rectifier to the fuse box, fuse box to battery and battery to engine.

Do whatever you think is best.
A slight improvement to say the least..

          Update:
Not that anyone cares but, the compression appears to be a tad low LMAO!!!

          #1=85psi, #2=80psi, #3=75psi and #4=85psi

Just a wild/crazy guess but I am thinking that it just might need a severe valve shim adjustment.

It will have to wait until I get back from Arizona.

But... considering those compression numbers. it ran great!!!

Thats exactly what my GS750 has... with a dry sump, on a cold motor. Hahaha.

Geez, those are low numbers. It is amazing it ran well. How well do these heads stand to be so poorly adjusted that the valves aren't barely seating? Will it take the seats out real quick as on "other" makes? Or are these tough old things that can take some serious neglect?

I'm concerned as to what I'll find. If these things can take some degree of abuse then its a bigger sigh of relief.

That must be the brownest bike I have ever seen. How brown can a bike be? Now I know!

Do you think it was Suzuki's answer to the Goldwing? Has that kinda look. Now that I'm discovering what great bikes these Suzuki Gs are I would much rather one of those than a Goldwing. But I like my 1100G best!

I would bet that valve adjustment and running the p*ss out of it would bring those numbers up quite a bit don't you think?

As long as the exhaust valves weren't stuck open and burned them/cracked them,
I should be able to re-seat the valves if I have to get that far into it.
Anyhow, if I do have to go that far into it, it will be gaining some cubic cc's.
