    81 GS450TX resurrection

Well I have taken on this project and so far it is going great! Using the amazing information i have found on this site i have gone through and repaird the wireharness that the PO said cant be fixed. i have just finished ordering everything needed to clean and make the carbs flow like new with new orings clamps a new needle and seat and some other odds and ends. also had to get a speedo cable since the PO used it on another project. the only thing left to order is new coils since i have one thats dead ill just order new for both cylinders. I cant wait to get this bike running it will be awesome to get this classic back on the road where it belongs. did i mention it only has 9,700 miles on it and i got the bike for FREE! I plan on providing more progress as I do more to the bike. Thank you all for the amazing support.

As you can see I have plenty of other projects im working on also lol. I got a two seater go-kart to get running and there are two racing go-karts in my garage. Both racing karts are for sale if anyone is interested lol.

Just as an update I have replaced the missing speedo cable, gone through the entire wire harness and found 3 bad wires and 3 bad grounds. I now have working headlight high and low, working brake light and working turn signals. All my gear position lights work and I just need to replace the bulbs for the right turn signal and high beam indicator in the dash. I have orderd carb parts and will be cleaning those this weekend. With any good luck I should be running and riding next week. Then I just need to get a title lol

So today I have finished my wiring and got it all tucked away nice and neat. All my turn signals work headlight and tail/brake light work. I noticed that on my little dash the right turn arrow and the high beam indicator don't work. Are these replaceable?

Yup they certainly should be. They were on my E and I've seen others that are the same.
