Ok, so it has been quite a while since I've posted. All the help everyone has given me has been wonderful. I have a few pictures!

      ALL TOGETHER!!!

Ok... so maybe I skipped a few steps. I'm not very good at taking pictures. Ill try to get some more later.I solved the tire clearance issue by moving the bracing and making the cowl so the tire has movement. I used green flower foam and fiberglass to make the cowl. I do have a leaking headgasket and it won't rev past 6k, but other than that, i love it! ps... I made the seat myself too.

So... I've been hearing a lot about the 850 swap. I have to have a '79 850 set, right? jugs and pistons?

Any year will do, the '79 may require less case grinding, maybe none.
