      Small update.

yesterday and today i was tidying up cables, trying to refit all correctly and connecting eveything and testing the electronics on the bike. still waiting for my Mikuni 34RC flatslides to arrive for insertion and starting. Fitted the fuel system , the front calipers and hoses and got rid of all the air from the brakes and wuth new DOT5 brakefluid. Got the rear brake sitting pretty and now i need to remove again the rear swing and polish that damn thing. !!

still left to do up front is to have CNC made the front brake caliper brackets .
Those are not available anywhere i gues ??

      Next project waiting

      My garage....

This is actually a Kawasaki GPX250R 1987. next winters restoring project.

        New update.

I have been out of breath and not working on any of my bikes because 3 weeks ago we found out that my Mikuni 34RC were in a really bad shape.

So i kind of wnet out of breath and got lazy . Here in iceland, the extreme good weather days just pass by and i dont have a bike to ride

I can only hope that the person restoring my carbs will start working on them now that he has all the parts needed.

I was just thinking about you the other day, and was wondering where you have gone...glad to hear it's nothing serious, but hopefully just a small set back in the completion of the bike....

I am in the same boat, but waiting on tins to come back from painting, would have been probably faster to have them shipped to you, and returned, than the local guy here, seems he is taking his time...ohhhh well....

hope you get things sorted out soon, and finish that awesome looking bike...

          Cheers

This is going to be, without a doubt, one of the nicest builds to EVER grace these pages.

Man, how did I miss this one for so long?

Yours, and mine, make the only two pop up Katanas on GSR as far as I know.
Don't really dig the colors but man they sure do POP!
The workmanship, on the other hand, I can definitely appreciate.

Subscribed and I will be watching with baited breath for the next installment!

                            Last leg.

Next things-to-do are tightening all nuts and bolts, fit K&N´s to the carbs, make sure nothing can fall off or leavy the bike that is essential to safety and normal use of the bike. Then it will be ready. This i will do tomorrow and next few days. I will post video of first drive.

Hehehe. Yes, it is hard to hold a cellphone shooting video while using screwdriver to listen close to inside of engine while it is running I will do better video later.
